Objective : to equip Learners with knowledge and skills necessary to design, deliver, assess and evaluate training programmes

Summary of Course Programme

• Theory of Training and Adult Learning
• The Role of the Trainer
• Training Needs Analysis & Programme Design
• Preparing for Training Delivery
• Delivery and Assessment
• Evaluation of Training
• Trainees will be required to do reflective practice, research and homework, minimum 10 hours between each training room session.

Assessment:

• Assignment  50%
• Skills Demonstration 50%

Preferred Entry Level: Leaving Certificate Level 5, equivalent or equivalent work/life balance experience

Course Dates:

Kilbeggan:  Training room dates 14, 21, 18 January and 04, 11 and 18 February 2011
